The kitchen is white and bright, with stainless steel appliances and a coffee bar, rattan pendants over a table for six and bar seats for four more. The bar cart holds the shaker and the glasses. A full-size washer and dryer is there for beach days and longer stays.
Out back
The covered patio has a rattan egg chair, seating, string lights and a ceiling fan. Beyond it is a large fenced lawn with a hammock under the trees, sun loungers by potted plants, a propane grill and a life-size Connect Four. Wicker chairs on the front porch catch the morning sun.
Nights of Lights
In the holiday season Encanto turns into a mini Christmas village, in time for Nights of Lights, when the old city is strung with white lights every winter. Historic downtown is under a mile away.
We had a great stay at Lola and Jon’s place! They were so kind, checked in on us, sent recommendations and we LOVED the “forgot something” closet they had. The place was spotless and beds were so comfy! Beautiful house and we would definitely stay again!
